The XY belt used on the H2D 3D printer has a length of 1824mm and a width of 9mm. There are two open-end belts in total, connecting the XY motor to the toolhead and driving its movement along the X/Y axes.
The spare parts of the auxiliary part cooling fan include the following:
Belt * 2
M3x8 screw - used to fix the belt fixing base * 6
Belt fixing base * 2
Belt fixing block * 4

IMPORTANT!
It's crucial to power off the printer before conducting any maintenance work, including work on the printer's electronics and tool head wires. Performing tasks with the printer on can result in a short circuit, leading to electronic damage and safety hazards.
During maintenance or troubleshooting, you may need to disassemble parts, including the hotend. This exposes wires and electrical components that could short circuit if they contact each other, other metal, or electronic components while the printer is still on. This can result in damage to the printer's electronics and additional issues.
Therefore, it's crucial to turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power source before conducting any maintenance. This prevents short circuits or damage to the printer's electronics, ensuring safe and effective maintenance. For any concerns or questions about following this guide, we recommend submitting a technical ticket regarding your issue and we will do our best to respond promptly and provide the assistance you need.
Tip: To simplify the installation process, you only need to remove the two fixing bases on one side of the belt fixing block; the other side does not need to be removed.
After removing the belt, apply a few drops of fast-drying adhesive to the end of the old belt (wear gloves to avoid getting glue on your hands). Align the new belt in the same orientation as the old belt (tooth side up, as shown in the image), and bond the old and new belts together. Wait for the adhesive to fully cure.
You can follow the same method to securely bond the other XY belt.
For better bonding, place the new belt on top of the old belt, as shown in the image, to ensure it does not break during threading.
Hold both belts, locate the end of the new belt, and thread it through the belt fixing block. Align the teeth of the belt mount with the teeth of the belt, ensuring the raised point is at the end of the belt. Pull the belt to seat the mount and belt into the fixing block.
Repeat the same method to secure the other belt.
Pull the fixing block at the other end of the old belt, and use the old belt to guide the new belt through the idler pulley and motor.
Proceed slowly and carefully. You can push from one side and pull from the other to thread the belt, ensuring the new belt is fully installed on the printer.
Remove the belt mounts from the old belt (refer to Step 1: Remove the XY belt fixing block for the steps).
Install them on the new belt (refer to Step 3: Install the belt fixing block for detailed steps), or use the belt fixing bases included in the XY belt spare parts.
Insert the belt fixing base into the toolhead and tighten the 3 fixing screws (M3x8) using an H2.0 Allen key. When installing the other side, press the fixing block against the Y-axis, and push the fixing block inward with your hand as the belt is under tension. Tighten the 3 screws (M3x8), starting with the middle screw.
Ensure the toolhead moves smoothly, the idler pulley rotates without abnormal noise, and there are no errors related to abnormal/low belt resonance frequency.
