Functionality: The assist motor, located in the filament hub, is responsible for transporting filament to the toolhead for printing and feeding filament into the filament buffer during the printing process, ensuring coordinated printing with the printer. This error is triggered when the current sensor's zero position of the assist motor is detected as abnormal.
Detection Principle: When no voltage is applied to the three-phase coils of the assist motor, the current values of the three-phase coils are measured. If the current values are not zero, an abnormality is detected.
Impact: The assist motor fails to function normally and remains in a free-rotating state. The AMS cannot read RFID tags, feed filament, or assist in printing properly.

Restart the AMS to see if the fault disappears.
Refer to the AMS 2 Pro disassembly video, disassemble the AMS main frame and lift it. Reconnect both ends of the FPC cable of the filament hub assist motor, then restart the AMS to check if the fault is resolved.
If the issue persists, it may indicate an abnormality in the current sensor on the AMS mainboard, necessitating the replacement of the AMS mainboard.
If your AMS 2 Pro is still under warranty, please contact our after-sales support team for further assistance after attempting the above troubleshooting steps.
