Functionality: During the printing process, the assist motor periodically feeds filament into the filament buffer to ensure the toolhead prints the model correctly. This error occurs when the assist motor is unable to feed filament into the buffer, and the motor's current output reaches its maximum value while the filament buffer remains unexpanded.

Fault Detection: When attempting to feed filament into the buffer, the buffer does not expand, the assist motor’s current reaches its maximum value, and this condition persists for a period of time.

Impact: The filament buffer fails to expand properly, the filament in the filament buffer runs out, and the toolhead cannot extrude filament normally.

¶ Fault Isolation Process

Check if the spool is tilted and rubbing against the main frame, causing excessive resistance to the spool's rotation and preventing the assist motor from feeding filament.

Inspect whether the filament is tangled on the spool, which could prevent the assist motor from feeding filament properly.

Check if the filament buffer is internally jammed and whether the slider can move left and right smoothly.

Verify if a paper spool is being used in the AMS 2 Pro, as deformation of the paper spool can increase the spool's rotational resistance, leading to motor overload errors.

Examine whether the PTFE tube connecting the AMS and the printer is excessively bent, causing high feeding resistance. Reduce the bending of the tube and retry.
