Functionality: The assist motor is located in the filament hub and is used to transport filament, delivering it to the toolhead for printing and feeding filament into the buffer during the printing process, working in coordination with the printer. This error indicates that the three-phase resistance of the assist motor exceeds the reasonable range, and the motor winding coils may be damaged.
Detection Principle: During startup, the three-phase resistance of the assist motor is measured. If the resistance exceeds the reasonable range, this error is triggered.
Impact: The assist motor cannot function properly and remains in a free-rotating state; the AMS cannot read RFID, feed filament, or assist in printing as expected.

Refer to the AMS 2 Pro disassembly video, loosen the two screws securing the AMS main frame, and lift the main frame of the AMS 2 Pro.
Reconnect both ends of the FPC for the filament hub assist motor, then restart the AMS to check if the issue is resolved.
If the problem persists, replace the filament hub assist motor.
If the issue remains after replacing the motor, there is a small possibility of an anomaly with the AMS mainboard, which would need to be replaced.
If your AMS 2 Pro is still under warranty, please contact our after-sales support team for further assistance after attempting the above troubleshooting steps.
