Functionality: The assist motor needs to record encoder parameters to operate normally. These parameters are usually stored in the chip. In some cases, these parameters may become corrupted or lost, rendering the motor unable to function properly. If there is filament present in the filament hub at this time, preventing the assist motor from automatically calibrating to obtain new parameters, this error will be triggered.

Fault Detection Principle: The motor encoder parameters are lost, and the presence of filament in the filament hub prevents automatic calibration to obtain new parameters.

Symptoms: Clicking RFID reading or feeding fails, the assist motor does not rotate, the filament is stuck in the filament hub, RFID reading and feeding fail. HMS prompts an error.

¶ Fault Isolation Process
When this error occurs, it indicates that the filament hub sensor has detected the presence of filament. First, manually pull the filament back slightly from each slot to see if the filament can be removed from the filament hub.
If the problem is still not solved, it means that there is broken filament inside the filament hub. You need to refer to the wiki or AMS disassembly and assembly video, loosen the tube at the filament hub, check whether there is broken filament inside, remove the broken filament inside, and then restart AMS to allow the assist motor to automatically calibrate the new parameters.
