Function:
The odometer is located in the internal hub unit of AMS and AMS2 Pro, as well as the single-path unit of AMS-HT. Its primary function is to measure the distance of filament movement. "Odometer no signal" means that after the assist motor feeds filament for more than the predetermined time, no change in the odometer's distance measurement is detected.
Fault Phenomenon:
The filament is fed out of the AMS but retracts after approximately 6 seconds. After 5 retries, an error is reported.

Refer to the AMS 2 Pro disassembly video. First, loosen the two screws securing the AMS main frame and lift the AMS 2 Pro main frame.
Reconnect the cable between the internal hub odometer and the mainboard (as shown in the image below). If the issue persists, the internal hub odometer may be faulty, and the internal hub unit will need to be replaced.
