If you are looking to enclose the P1P with an enclosure in order to print higher temperature materials, please ensure that the preparation, modification, and testing is carried out in accordance with the following requirements. Failure to do so may result in printer failure, skipped steps, or other unforeseen issues.
Important
We strongly recommend against printing high-temperature filaments in an enclosed P1P printer without installing an MC Fan.
When enclosing the P1P, an MC fan needs to be installed to ensure adequate cooling to the stepper drivers and board. the P1P was designed to work without completely enclosing it, and because of this, we eliminated the MC board fans from the printer. (The first 300+P1Ps have also had these disabled)
We did this because the heatsink of the MC board is able to run fanless when the printer is not enclosed.
If your P1P is enclosed, the heat dissipation of the heatsink will not be as good and can lead to overheating. To avoid this, it is necessary to reinstall and turn on the control board fan. Due to firmware settings, the additional control board fan can only be turned on through Gcode which will be available in the next firmware update:
To turn on the MC Board Fan: M710 A1 S255
Turn off the MC Board Fan: M710 S0
The installation position of the fan is shown in the figure below, and it is recommended to apply structural adhesive to the upper and lower edges to attach it.

If you want to install a cable chain to your P1P, please read the following reminders:
1. It is not recommended to directly install a cable chain on P1P printers. If you really want to install a cable chain, you may need to purchase a new version of the tool head cable simultaneously.
2. In order to avoid step loss due to insufficient tube length, it is recommended to replace the 530mm PTFE tube with a 550mm one.

After finishing the enclosure, it is recommended to use a cool plate for printing to avoid frequent problems of extruder jamming or nozzle clogs due to heat creep.
This is especially important when printing with PLA, because heat creep in the hotend can occur easily if the printer is fully closed and a Chamber Fan is not installed.
The problem can also occur for other filaments like TPU, PETG or other materials with a lower glass transition temperature.
Using the Cool Plate will allow you to print without setting the temperature of the heatbed too high, thus lowering the chance of a nozzle clog/extruder clog.
If it is necessary to frequently print lower temperature materials, and to still use high bed temperatures, it is recommended to print the following air duct model to install a temperature regulator fan so that the warm air inside the enclosure can be exhausted to keep a manageable temperature inside.

Due to the size difference of the front cover, the glass front door used by the X1 series is not suitable for the P1P, or installing the X1 series glass front door on the P1P will have a big gap with the front cover. Please pay attention to the updated information on our related accessories.
In order to ensure the quality of the printint, when you confirm the need to make the enclosure, it is strongly recommended that you refer to the above requirements for preparation, modification, and testing, and be informed of any possible issues.
