During regular use of AMS lite, the status of the LED lights on the loading/unloading module can be used to determine whether the AMS lite is functioning properly.
LED Status | AMS lite Status |
Marquee effect (4 white lights flash in sequence) | Normal status. All four slots are empty. |
White light steady on | Normal status. Filament is inserted in this slot and it is idle. |
White light breathing | Normal status. Filament is inserted in this slot and it is busy (feeding, reading RFID, etc.). |
Red light double flashing | Error status. Feeding or unloading failed. Possible causes include feeding timeout, unloading timeout, filament slipping, or motor overload. |
Red light breathing | Error status. No filament inserted in the corresponding slot when the print started. Returns to normal after filament is inserted. |
All four slots flashing red | Error status. AMS communication failure. In this case, AMS lite cannot be detected by the printer. |
LED light off | 1. When a filament is inserted into a slot, the LED lights of the remaining empty slots stay off, which is normal. 2. When all four slots are empty, if the LED of one slot is always off, it indicates a power supply failure in the loading/unloading module. |
