Item: PTFE Tubes 370mm * 1
Usage: The function of PTFE Tube is to reduce resistance and guide filament. The tube’s inner diameter is 2.5mm, and its outer diameter is 4mm.
Please note that the PTFE tubes are consumables and are at risk of wear, as they may rub against the filament over time. We recommend that you check the PTFE tubes for wear during your maintenance of the machine.
If the tubes are worn and not replaced in time, this may lead to feeding failures, filament accumulation inside the AMS, etc.

Item: PTFE Tube Coupler * 1
Usage: The PTFE Tube Coupler is a component used to connect the PTFE tube, which is mounted on the back of the printer and used to connect the PTFE tube between the buffer and the tool head.

Item: Filament Cutter * 2
Usage: This spare filament cutter should be changed if there are problem with filament cutting, or when the filament cutter blade gets dull. The sharpness of the blade can become worse over time.
We recommend replacing the filament cutter every 10-15 spools of filament used (or quicker) to ensure the cutting performance is unaffected.
We have found that after about 5.000-7.000 filament cuts, the filament cutter blade can get dull but the blade might not get deformed as shown in the image below.
If you encounter issues with the AMS filament retractions, we recommend replacing the blade for the best results. If the blade is sharp, the filament will be cut cleanly and should not cause problems during operation.

Item: Cable Organizer * 1
Usage: Install the organizer as shown in the diagram. Clip the black cable into the smaller hole and secure the PTFE tubes into the other four larger holes. Please note that the cable organizer should be positioned close to the end of the tool head instead of the AMS lite.

Item: H2.0 hex key * 1
Usage: Disassembly and assembly tools.
Item: PTFE Tube 730mm * 2 and PTFE Tube 850mm * 2
Usage: The length of the PTFE tubes included with the AMS Lite unit corresponds to the dimensions of the A1 combo, specifically 730mm * 2 and 850mm * 2. However, for the A1 Mini combo, the PTFE tube specifications are 580mm * 2 and 700mm * 2. If you intend to use the AMS Lite with the A1 Mini, it is advisable to adjust the position of the tubes or cut them shorter. Excessively long tubing can elevate resistance during loading and unloading, potentially leading to false filament entanglement detection alarms.
