The extruder motor is installed on the tool head and used to drive the extruder to move. It is a 36-series circular stepping motor.
Turn off the power and remove the power cord.
Refer to the video in Replace the TH board assembly to disassemble to toolhead and remove the TH board assembly.

Remove the tool head system LED light cable.

Remove 2 screws with an H1.5 hex key and remove the micro lidar assembly.

Remove 8 screws with an H2.0 hex key in sequence.
Remove the front cover assembly (with the extruder) of the toolhead.

Note: At the upper position of the copper sleeve, the back cover of the tool head slider is equipped with 4 springs, preventing it from falling off.
Remove the 3 screws with an H2.0 hex key, and remove the extruder and the hot end.

Remove 2 screws with an H2.0 hex key and remove the extruder motor.

Install the new extruder motor on the front cover of the slider, while paying attention that the motor cable should be on top, then lock in 2 screws to secure the motor.

Install the extruder and the hot end together on the front cover of the slider, and then fix it with 3 screws.
Before installation, confirm that the springs are in place at first and that both the copper sleeves are placed in the corresponding grooves on the back cover of the slider, and then install the front cover assembly of the slider, taking care not to press the motor cable.

Lock the screws to fix the front cover assembly of the slider. Please tighten the screws in the order of 1~8 as shown in the figure below.

Install the bambu micro lidar under the toolhead and fix it with 2 screws.

Install the system LED connecting cable.
