Hello!
Thank you for contacting the Bambu Lab Support Team.
Bambu Lab is committed to making cutting-edge technology affordable with advanced know-how and high production quality. Nonetheless, users may experience frustrating situations where a model doesn't print correctly. These failures could be caused by structural damage, the HMS reporting an error code, or dissatisfaction with the printed model's appearance.
This guide categorizes the technical problems you may encounter when you submit a ticket. It is recommended that all users read the guide carefully. When contacting technical after-sales, this guide can give more details about the problem, which will help technical support solve your problem faster. Additionally, it can help you better understand and use Bambu Lab products and find answers to frequently asked questions.
This guide will be constantly updated. Please stay tuned! Thank you!
The possible problem types are categorized into the following eight groups based on the module. Due to space constraints, only the primary and secondary catalogs of issues are briefly described in the next paragraph. Please see the details below for more detailed explanations of the phenomena and related troubleshooting instructions.
This category catalog includes, but is not limited to, problems with the tool head, heatbed, Display/FPC/Micro SD card, Core XY, Z-axis/motor/belt, Build Plates/Sheets, LiDAR&AI/Camera/LED, fans, circuit board, printer's network module issue and other possible technical problems related to hardware.
This category catalog contains but is not limited to firmware upgrade failures, inability to obtain the most recent firmware, new feature requests, and bug reports (abnormal printing behavior such as interruptions, bed crashes, and so on).
This category includes but is not limited to, the AMS not being detected by the printer, the loading/unloading process not working as expected, the first stage feeder not working as expected, strange noises from AMS, printing in the wrong slot (AMS mapping issues), the RFID information not being detected or not being correct, AMS parts mechanical breakdown and other possible technical problems related to AMS, Filament breaks in the path, AMS power on failure, Filament hub issue, Filament buffer issue, AMS hub issue.
This category includes but is not limited to, Bambu Studio and Bambu Handy installation failure, account login failure, printer binding failure, crashing and freezing, file transfer failure, video stream loading failure, timelapse questions, information prompt failure, bug report, information/Feature/Help request, etc.
This category includes but is not limited to, tangled or stuck BBL filament, clogged with BBL filament, broken BBL filament in the path, mislabeled RFID, BBL accessories that did not work as expected, and information/feature/help requests.
This category includes but is not limited to, external wall ghosting or ringing, print stringing or oozing, support structure failure during printing, the first layer failing or not sticking well to the print surface, the print warping during printing, and losing adhesion to the print surface, model pieces warping or not sticking, the size or shape of the printed model not being as expected, the print has a layer shift or step lost and other possible technical issues, the print surface is bad(spot/seam/etc).
This category includes but is not limited to, the printer making strange noises and smells, the printer being unable, to be turned on, and other possible technical problems related to noise/smell/electricity.
